Peter LoVerso lives in Bend, Oregon with his wife Monika. He is an avid mountaineer, and enjoys tinkering and building things, especially electronics. He is a backcountry skier who has skied at least once every month since November 2021. A trained bioinformatician, he was formerly a Principal Software Engineer working at Personal Genome Diagnostics. More recently he worked as a Staff Software Engineer working on motion planning at Viam, Inc.
In early 2025 he cofounded the the Central Oregon Tool Library.
He leads the Heritage Apple Corps helping preserve pioneer-era apple trees in Central Oregon.
